This is an exciting opportunity for a Spacecraft Opeartions Engineer in a reputed European navigation project to start latest 1st of November 2015. The position is bases onsite our customers premises near Munich. The submission deadline for interested candidates is 14th of October 2015. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES To support our customer based near Munich for spacecraft operations in the area of payload, data handling and TTC operations. Prepare and conduct tests and validation of the operational items Writing operational procedures and their validation Preparation and participation in SVTs and other simulations Documenting, analysing and troubleshooting offnominal and anomalous spacecraft operations Organizing and participation to internal trainings Analysis and documentation of subsystem performance Supporting possible shift work during special operations and LEOPs Providing regular OnCall support QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE Engineering degree Aerospace or any other related stream Good understanding of Spacecraft subsystems Some experience in Spacecraft operations and its related environment Be fluent in English, both in speaking and writing ESSENTIAL SKILLS Ability to think in an analytical way Collaborative and team worker Good communication skills Solution oriented DESIRABLE SKILLS German language skills
