RHEA is currently recruiting a Spacecraft Operations Engineer to support Cluster II project at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Study of specific Mission Characteristics and Ground Segment Documentation Participation in the Analysis and Design of Satellite Operations Preparation of Functional Requirements for Flight Control Ground Facilities Preparation of Flight Control and Contingency Procedures Mission Management and Mission Planning Support OnBoard Software Maintenance Support Supervision of daily operations and reporting General Flight Control Support Spacecraft Performance Analysis Support to other missions could also include SVT, Launch Campaign, LEOP, etc. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You must have least a university degree and relevant experience in spacecraft operations. You have spacecraft subsystem knowledge You are able to coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields. Familiarity with the ESOC environment will be an advantage Familiarity with satellite control systems, in particular SCOS2000 Familiarity with Planning and Automation Systems. The ability to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously. Familiarity with operational simulators, especially the ones based on SimSat Experience in programming is desirable e.g. Java, Python, HTML, PHP Fluency in English, both in speech and writing How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
