For our location in Oberpfaffenhofen, close to Munich, Germany, we are looking for Spacecraft Operations Engineers fm. Tasks The Spacecraft Operations Engineer shall perform the following tasks Configuration and validation of ground segment systems Preparation, validation and maintaining of spacecraft operation procedures Preparation and participation in System Validation Test SVT and simulations Day to day control and monitoring of the assigned subsystem Analyzing the subsystem performance and health status Anomaly investigation and troubleshooting Essential requirements The staff in charge of this work package shall have University or similar degree Spacecraft operational engineering experience with at least one of the following satellite subsystems AOCS Propulsion Data Handling Telemetry, Command and Ranging Power Thermal Repeater Experience with Unix and Windows Operating systems Good analytical skills Ability to work calmly and correctly under stressful operational conditions Fluency in German is mandatory Desirable skills Experience with Monitoring and Control Systems SCOS, SATMON Experience with FramePacketConverter FPC and CortexSCOSGateway CSG Knowledge of database systems Ability to work autonomously Other Information Fluency in English is desirable Candidate must be EU Citizen or have valid working permit to work in Germany The acquisition of a security clearance is mandatory for this position Position can involve shift work To guarantee that your application is processed, please apply via our website httpwww.scisys.dewhereweworkspacecareersspacejobs.html
