The successful applicant will join the Avionic Data Handling Engineering department TEPSD. The jobholder will be the technical lead for the design, development and qualification of digital equipment for spacecraft platform payload. Major tasks of this position are Requirements analysis and architecture definition at electronic function and electronics board level. Definition of design, development and verification approach. Technical lead of engineers allocated to a project in close cooperation with the project manager. Responsibility and coordination of all technical activities related to the development of a unit or module, including interfaces to other engineering disciplines mechanical, thermal Leads the technical communication towards customer and major subcontractors. Lead detailed electronics design, components selection, schematics capture, and analogue andor digital simulation at function level. Review analysis and documentation of design parts stress analysis, worst case analysis, failure modes and criticality analysis, radiation analysis, etc. Assessment of EMC performances of the equipment Support of test procedures and reports for qualification and acceptance testing at module and unit level. Specification andor detailed design of necessary test benches. Preparation of technical proposals answering customer specifications. You will be a part of the definition of engineering resources needed and planning for design and development. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to a Masters degree level in Electrotechnics and Hyperfrequency Engineering or equivalent, At least 10 years of experience in a similar domain, ideally in digital space equipment, Indepth knowledge of design methodologies for space applications is a plus in electronic design analysis as per ECSS requirements, Recognized for being rigorous, systematic and able to work with other engineers in project teams and under pressure tight schedules, fixed data deliveries, etc., Good communication skills.
