EUMETSAT is now embarking on new and challenging satellite development programmes, shaping its longterm future. System Operations Manager REF. VN1307 As System Operations Manager, you will oversee the endtoend system scheduling, coordination and operations of our space and ground segments. This will involve planning and scheduling routine operations, operations projects and system evolutions, as well as training operations personnel and managing the System Operations Team supporting these activities. At the same time, you will play an important part in developing operations concepts for future satellite ground systems, so you will contribute significantly to keeping us at the forefront of space technology. Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline, you will have extensive experience of complex spacecraft and ground segment operations. Fully familiar with management activities, you should be skilled in leading, coordinating and planning large projects, and will bring considerable initiative and drive to the role. Finally, you must be able to operate effectively in English and have a working knowledge of French.
