Telefonica Europe pay TV subscribers continue to decline

Telefónica (Madrid and NYSE: TEF) has released its first quarter (January to March) 2013 results. Pay TV accesses in Latin America reached 2.5 million, up 7% year-on-year. In Europe pay TV subscribers declined to 852 thousand from 1.03 million at the end of March 2012, a fall of 17%.
