Description The main tasks are Refinement and completion of Thermal Control Subsystem TCS design during the Phase CD of ExoMars Refining and extending existing thermal model of SC Running thermal analysis for all scenarios Interpreting results of thermal analysis to modify and refine thermal design especially thermal hardware heaters, sensors, MLI used for controlling propulsion subsystem Communication of final design to propulsion subsystem supplier and control of implementation Profile Needed qualifications A degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace technology, physics or comparable qualification At least four years of working knowledge of the principles of spacecraft thermal control Experience in the thermal design of SC propellant subsystems Proven experience in thermal modeling with ESA tools e.g. ESATAN TMS Working knowledge of Finite Element pre and postprocessing software Hypermesh preferred Working knowledge of CAD software e.g. NX 4.0, Catia v15 Basic knowledge of Linux Operating System Good knowledge of MS Office suite High motivation and commitment to the project Used to tough project targets and challenges Welldeveloped communication skills and hands onmentality Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and able to work under time pressure Fluency in spoken and written English EU citizenship or valid EU work permit Location Bremen, Germany Application deadline 10052013 Estimated star date and Duration asap, 6 months contract If you are interested, please send your EUROPASS format CV as well as a Cover Letter to Lena Englander, Recruitment Manager at careeropportunitiesrheagroup.com Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
