DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 400 AM CDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Eleven-E was located near latitude 13.0 North, longitude 96.9 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h). The depression is expected to continue moving west-northwestward but at a faster forward speed for the next few days. On the forecast track, the center of the depression is expected to move parallel to but remain offshore of the coast of southern and southwestern Mexico. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some additional strengthening is forecast, and the depression is expected to become a tropical storm later today. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
