DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 900 AM MDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Four-E was located near latitude 12.7 North, longitude 110.8 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h). A westward motion is expected to begin tonight and continue through Saturday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the depression could become a tropical storm later today or tonight.
