DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Hilda was located near latitude 22.6 North, longitude 133.3 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue with a gradual slowdown through Saturday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is expected over the next day or so. Hilda is forecast to degenerate into a remnant low later today and dissipate on Saturday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
