DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Omar was located near latitude 35.3 North, longitude 57.3 West. The depression is moving toward the east near 6 mph (9 km/h). A north-northeastward motion is expected to begin by tonight and should continue through Saturday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Omar is forecast to become a remnant low tonight or early Saturday and dissipate by Saturday night. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
