DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Roslyn was located near latitude 22.1 North, longitude 115.1 West. The depression is moving toward the north near 6 mph (9 km/h). A turn toward the northwest is expected on Thursday, and a turn toward the west is forecast late Thursday. Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is likely, and Roslyn is expected to degenerate to a remnant low pressure area on Thursday.
