DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Ten-E was located near latitude 13.8 North, longitude 130.6 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 9 mph (15 km/h) and this general heading with a decrease in forward speed is expected through the weekend. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast, but the depression could become a tropical storm at any time during the next couple of days. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
