DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Juliette was located near latitude 24.2 North, longitude 128.4 West. Juliette is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue through the middle of next week. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast during the next several days, and Juliette is expected to become a post-tropical cyclone later today. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
