Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)
2018-11-19 13:25:32| EmergingTextiles.com
Polyester chain prices have eventually bottomed out in the last days, over a rebound of crude oil prices and a reduction of operating rates at a series of PTA, MEG and polyester fiber plants in the Far East, including China. Demand remains however very depressed from downward processors due to poor seasonal trends and a lower economic growth in China. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Asian Contract Prices (ACPs) are also available for the PX, PTA and MEG markets in Asia, with 5-year charts and downloadable historical data.

2018-11-19 13:25:32| EmergingTextiles.com
Polyester fiber prices have further plunged in the past seven days in China, eventually returning to their initial levels before they have suddenly surged in the summer. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.
