The Age of Quantum Information Teleportation Dawns
2013-08-19 16:00:00| TechNewsWorld
Researchers at ETH Zurich have teleported information from one end of a superconducting circuit to another -- a distance of 6mm. The experiment has two unusual features: 1) It is the first time quantum teleportation was conducted over a circuit without the use of a powerful laser beam; and 2) the information was relayed making use of the laws of quantum physics rather than classical physics.

Human teleportation would take so long, itd be more like a death ray
2013-08-02 14:56:55| Extremetech
Teleportation is always as sci-fi dream, but recently scientists have been able to teleport nano-sized objects across significant distances. We're nowhere near teleporting even the smallest object able to be see with the naked human eye, but a team of researchers calculated how long it'd take to teleport an entire human being. It's very long.
