For our activities in Germany, we are looking for a person to provide Project Portfolio Management Service. TASKS 1 In the context of the Pathfinders and Framework Projects, prepare and maintain Data Services Portfolio and dedicated Project documents and especially the Pathfinders Project Plan PPP. The PPP shall describe The development logic The management processes to be implemented during the project lifecycle, including tailoring of EUMETSAT processes as required The product tree The Work Breakdown Structure WBS and associated Work Package WP descriptions The planning and associated identification of the Critical Path The project schedule 2 Maintaining a Critical Item List during the projects lifecycle 3 Support Project Managers in managing projects risks 4 Preparation of synthetic progress reports for internal and external purposes 5 Preparation of presentations for internal and external purposes 6 Support Project Managers in the preparation and the execution of Project, including Project Reviews from a management standpoint, as well as the organization of dedicated key points 7 Support the Framework Project Manager in overall project team organisation REQUIRED University degree Demonstrated experience in Project and Portfolio Management disciplines Demonstrated experience in executing projects in a multiproject environment Good experience of service focused projects ideally ITIL conform Sound knowledge of related QA processes and procedures, preferably ISO9001 or above Good computing skills with a familiarity with Microsoft Office software Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, etc. Experience in projects delivering computing infrastructure as a service Demonstration of excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks with the minimum of supervision able to work effectively in English EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass format Distinct advantage Experience in Earth Observation Ground Segment projects Experience in public cloud computing projects Furthermore experiences in managing multinational teams, team motivation and excelling team performance are a distinct advantage
