One of our space clients based in Norway is looking for a Product Assurance engineer with a background in the following. Quality Assurance and Product Assurance Management Configuration and Document Management This is for a space project working in an Atmosphere Space Interaction Monitor system and our client is designing and building a detector plane and readout electronics for gamma and Xray detection. This consists of two main units Low Energy Detector LED and a High Energy Detector HED. They are delivering to a Technical University which is responsible to integrate their part together with DPU Data Process Unit, PSU Power Supply Unit from Poland and mechanical units. This will constitutes the Modular Xray and Gammaray Sensor, which the university will deliver to a space company based in Denmark which is the prime for this project. Current progress is as follows The Ground Model was delivered, but documents from the CDR are still being reviewed. The client is now delivering the Flight Models. Test Review Board and Integration Readiness Review are needed before integration can start. The Acceptance Data Package ADP is about to be delivered. After environmental tests HED had some failure and needs to be repaired. The unit is now being repaired, these were functional tested a few months ago. Documentation for HED has to be updated after the environmental testing, TRB has to be held for that unit before IRR. Our client is therefore looking for someone with expertise in Quality Assurance and Product Assurance Management. Configuration and Document management Familiar with all ESA requirements and rules. Specific work tasks are Soldering verification program. Closure of the open NCRs. Finish of the DPL, DML and DMPL with the associated RFA. Handling and signoff of data packages. Support other space players in integration of our units in the higher level assembly and testing. The contract will be for 6 months and start date as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.
