Avionics System Engineer

We are currently looking for an Avionics System Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Avionics System Engineer We are looking for support in the area of SW development and SW design. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Analysis of customers requirements and evaluation of technical impacts Preparation of technical concepts and their description as well as creation of work package descriptions Design and development of SW products and systems according to customers requirements using special tools e.g. DOORS Definition of validation approach Representation of the subproduct towards internal and external clients Coordination of a technical team Technical coordination and control of internal departments and subcontractors Conduction of analysis Support of configuration management Monitoring of prototypes and flight models, integration and test activities Definition of qualification and acceptance tests Maintenance and user support incl. the development of maintenance concepts. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline physics, electrical engineering Several years professional experience in avionics system engineering as well as experience in electrical development preferably in the aerospace sector Familiarity with requirement based engineering Knowledge of space processes and specifications for example ESA ECSS Experience with DOORS, MATLAB, SPICE and MS Office tools Ability to work independently as well as good communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of German French is an advantage. Satellite Avionics System Engineer

The Avionics System Engineer is responsible for the specification of the OBDH and Power subsystem of the satellite and oversee their design, development and verification processes. Tasks Design, analyze and configure avionic systems for satellite applications Produce and maintain documentation such as specifications, design descriptions, test procedures and reports Develop and implement corresponding test specifications Oversee, supervise and manage subcontractors and suppliers Support satellite projects from the proposal phase through to the inorbit commission Develop new business and draft corresponding proposals Qualification Degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering or comparable qualifications Ideally, 5 years experience in satellite onboard data handling and power electronics. Familiar with Phase BCD hardware objects in the area of avionic systems onboard computers, power electronics and related subsystems for satellites Confident in negotiations with customers Fluency in the English language is required.
