Description Contribution to the review and iteration of the Spacecraft SC C Specification and the avionics lower level specifications being produced and iterated during the phase CD. Monitoring and assessment of the development, integration and testing of the SC and their subsystems mainly Avionics, in collaboration with the Spacecraft System team and subsystems specialists, to ensure the compliance of the spacecraft and subsystems with the technical and performance requirements and the overall mission requirements. Identification and monitoring of technical and schedule risks in the relevant developments. System level AIV organization, coordination and Management AIV engineering within the Spacecraft System team. Role will include o Verification plans and test specification for the verification campaigns. Review of tests specifications, procedures for all campaigns. o Review of Avionics integration, verification, testing and launch processes of the overall System and the individual satellites. o Special emphasis and dedication to the SC development, SC and System AIV, testing and launch preparation processes. Strong support to the development and maintenance of the detailed System level plans, in relation with the development and delivery of the different System components, with special attention in the SC and SC subsystems development interactions. Critical assessment of feasibility of the SC subcontractors project plans, in relation with the rest of System elements. Problems analysis and investigation of alternative solutions. Major role in the organization, preparation and execution of System, SC and subsystem reviews, both internally at the company and externally with the customer and the SC responsible. Major contribution in the review of operation concept definition and development and in the execution of the operations for launch and IOC, all of them being performed by another partner. Profile Applicants for this post must have University degree M.Sc. or higher in Engineering or equivalent qualification Solid experience in System or SC AIV, in particular in the avionics field. Good knowledge the structure and organization of space operations processes Applicable experience in a complete systemspacecraftavionics development, verification and operations within a phase CDE from design up to validation and commissioning is required, with dedication in the integration, verification and testing of spacecraft. Excellent knowledge of English as working language is assumed. It will be positively evaluated that the previous mentioned experiences were obtained in a low cost satellite system in Europe, or in science, space exploration or similar technology projects of ESA.
