(Telecompaper) T-Mobile US increased its outlook for full-year growth after solid results in the first quarter. The company added a net 1.0 million postpaid customers in Q1 and said it expects to grow by 2.6-3.3 million over the full year, up from a forecast in February for growth of 2-3 million in 2018.

Reliance Jio accelerates customer growth to 26.5 mln net additions in Q1

(Telecompaper) Indian mobile operator Reliance Jio reported continued strong growth in its fiscal fourth quarter to March, adding a net 26.5 million new customers for a total 186.6 million. That's up from 21.5 million net additions in the previous quarter. The company also claims it's the biggest mobile data provider in the country, with nearly all its customers using mobile internet.

LG Mobile revenues down 28% in Q1 after flagship launch delayed

(Telecompaper) LG Electronics reported a sharp fall in results from its mobile phone business in the first quarter, after it delayed the launch of its next flagship phone. Revenues fell 27.7 percent year-on-year to KRW 2.16 trillion, and smartphone shipments were down 23 percent to 11.4 million.
