Corporate Support Officer

The European GNSS Agency GSA is responsible for the operations and service provision for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems GNSS EGNOS and Galileo. By developing a new generation of GNSS, Europe is laying the foundation for new hightechnology industry development, leading to job creation and economic growth. The Project Control and Office of the Executive Director Quality Department handles all matters related to project control and quality management of the Galileo and EGNOS programmes, together with corporate planning and programming, and the administrative management of the GSA Administrative Board. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Project Control Officer reports to the Head of Project Control and Office of the Executive Director Quality. The main task is to ensure proper corporate GSA planning and programming and the administrative management of the GSA Administrative Board. The specific responsibilities shall be finalised on appointment and are planned to include Managing and coordinating all administrative aspects and the proper endtoend functioning of the GSA Administrative Board, working closely with all GSA departments Managing and coordinating GSA reporting activities to the European Commission and to the Administrative Board for the implementation of core and delegated tasks, including dashboards Support the development, analysis, and recommendations of GSA policies Preparing meetings including supporting the development, maintenance and implementation of GSA processes in support of configuration and document management Supporting the Head of Department for additional topics as required, in particular concerning development of briefing materials and preparation of meetings MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The selection procedure is open to applicants who satisfy the following eligibility criteria, on the closing date for application Have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma and appropriate professional experience of at least one year after obtaining the final diploma Be a national of a Member State of the European Union Be entitled to his or her full rights as citizen Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service Meet the character requirements for the duties involved Have a thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the European Union to the extent necessary for the performance of hisher duties Be physically fit to perform the duties linked to the post APPLICATION PROCEDURE In order to be considered for this position, candidates need to create an account by registering via the GSA erecruitment tool.
