Moreover, we actively manage your professional development, training and career progression. For the location in Darmstadt, Germany we are looking for a Java EE Development Support fm at Eumetsat. Tasks Java EE Development Support is required in the Enterprise Data and Application Team EDA of the Information and Communication Technology Support ICT Section in the General Service Division GES. The responsibilities of the Enterprise Data and Application team start with the collection and analysis of requirements for new multitier applications, Website and Intranet in close collaboration with internal and external customers and users. The responsibilities continue with the specification and design of the solution, the selection of the software platform and related technologies, the implementation and test of the services and applications, and finally the maintenance of the system and application together with the other existing services. The key person will contribute to the full life cycle of the application software development, maintenance and support for all services, including web applications integrated in the Website and Intranet. Occasionally less than 15 work time the key person will maintain PHP and Commercial off the Shelf COTS tools e.g. Org Chart, Library.
