Integrated Systems Development S.A. ISD is an independent organization established in Greece in 1998. ISD is active in the domain of Integrated Systems IS of guaranteed quality and performance. It is an RD organization working with system houses, software houses and integrated circuit manufacturers. ISD is also actively involved in the provision of specialist consultants within the Space Industry. ISD is currently recruiting consultants to work within Prime Spacecraft science missions throughout Europe. We are currently seeking candidates to fill roles in engineering domains Product Assurance consultants PA, SW PA You should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Product Assurance role within the Space or Aerospace Industries. Your main duties will be to take an active role in the procurement of Spacecraft flight hardware, working within the Prime project team. You will actively support the subcontractor engineering review process and support the Prime in the project in the major system level reviews. Based at the Prime project premises, this role will require extensive travel throughout Europe to suppliers premises. RAMS consultants You should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the role of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety RAMS within the Space or Aerospace Industries. Your main duties will be to take an active role in the management of subcontractors and suppliers of engineering and flight hardware and the preparation of equipment inputs to the system RAMS FDIR for a Prime Spacecraft mission. You will actively support the subcontractor engineering review process and support the Prime in the project in the major system level reviews. Based at the Prime project premises within Europe, this role will additionally require extensive travel throughout Europe to suppliers premises. AIT Engineering You should have a minimum of 2 years experience in the role of Assembly, Integration and Test AIT engineer within the Space Industry working within Prime science or commercial Spacecraft projects. Your main duties will be to provide Test Procedures Sequences from Test Requirements, execute the tests on an engineering test bed or Spacecraft and provide completion test reports. You will also be required to support the test review process test readiness and completion reviews. The role will based within the Prime AIT team within Europe. The role will also require extensive travel within Europe, supporting the Spacecraft mechanical and environmental test campaigns. In the AIT support roles ISD are interested in recruiting expertise in both mechanical and electrical domains, with additional specific interest in subsystem experts Power, DHS, RF, AOCS and Mechanisms. Job description Objective The objective of the role is to provide onsite support SSEG Maintenance Support at the GCC relating to the following activities Support of engineering tasks for the preparation, validation and execution of special operations Anomaly investigation Tasks Anomaly investigation, root cause analysis and Anomaly Reports processing, support of review boards i.e. Anomaly Review Boards and Nonconformance Review Boards. Provision of recommendations for workarounds to mitigate satellite anomalies Maintenance and update of operational documentations including Spacecraft User Manuals and Known Anomaly Databases Spacecraft Performance Analysis including generation, screening and processing of satellite trend reports identification of problems, reoccurrence of anomalies. Assessment of performance degradation and input provision for lifetime estimation Coordination of the Level 3 Space Segment Support Support improvements of Space Segment Maintenance process and procedure Development and support of validation of spacecraft anomaly recovery strategies and workarounds Provision of onconsole support for special operations when needed Provision of oncall support when needed Provision of inputs for Operation and Engineering Reports Provision of Subject Matter Expertise for developing training material Support Database tuning definition of Out of limits and review Out of limits settings in trend analyses Support Satellite Connectivity Test Campaigns inputs for SCTC sequence, analysis of results, on console support for special operations Adapt procedures to new databases and procedures delivered by industry Spacecraft Engineering Anaylsis to support Customer driven requests Requirements Academic degree Minimum Bachelor Degree or higher in relevant Engineering discipline Level of English Advanced spoken and written Technical knowledge Experience from AIT tasks and or satellite engineeringdevelopment at industry mandatory this experience gained in the frame of Galileo is an asset Experience in spacecraft design and manufacturing Expert knowledge of at least one of the following satellite subsystems AOCS, Galileo payload or TCS Good communication and negotiation skills Good analytical skills and high flexibility Team player Stress resilient Desirable knowledge Experience in spacecraft operations would be an asset
