Job description Our customer, ESA, develops ground software systems for supporting the spacecraft mission operations at its operations centre, ESOC, in Darmstadt, Germany. ESOC requires an experienced Navigation Engineer NAV ConceptsPOD2 to support primarily POD Services related to LEO POD, NAV POD Concepts for FF and satellite constellations and POD related to GNSS Space Service Volume extension within the Navigation Office. Your tasks will be related to Navigation Operations Services, executed for several ESA and 3rd party customers in parallel, process data from a combination of a number of GNSS receiver networks, including the ESA network plus optionally subnetworks providing data by contractual agreement and publicly available data CDDIS. The data are processed in batch mode or in realtime, in ESOCs Navigation Facility. Service products typically include orbit products restitution and prediction and highrate clock solutions both for the ground and satellite clocks. Beside near real time products enhancedaccuracy offline or final products may be delivered, as well as additional or auxiliary products station coordinates, geophysical data e.g. Earth Rotation Parameters ERPs, satellite properties, etc..
