For Astrium in Friedrichshafen within the area System Perf Verif User Ground Segments for the department Syst Perf Verif User Ground Segment we are looking for a Development Engineer mf in Radar Satellite Mission Planning. Your responsibilities will include Definition and development of mission planning software elements for the next generation of SAR satellite ground system projects Analysis of mission planning subsystem requirements with focus on functional and performance requirements Identification of design and cost drivers Identification and analysis of operational interfaces as well as generating ICDs Defining mission planning software architectures Setting up specifications of implementation requirements for operational mission planning systems Definition of hardware requirements for operational target systems Definition of software specifications for operational mission planning systems Development of mission planning prototype software implementations Development and implementation of the operational software Support of mission planning subsystem integration into the overall ground segment Preparation and execution of verifications functional and performance Participation in customer meetings and workshops Documentation of all relevant engineering processes We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar Knowledge of engineering processes and standard support tools Experience in mission planning analysis tools Knowledge of modern software development processes and language English, German fluent negotiation level French would be an advantage If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com.
