RHEA is currently recruiting a Flight Dynamics Engineer to support Sentinels Flight Dynamics Team at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the Flight Dynamics Operations within Sentinels team, routine and special operations including LEOP and deorbiting Sentinels Flight Dynamics software exploitation, operation and maintenance Support to Sentinels launch campaigns FD system tests, simulations to prepare and validate operational support Oncall, and eventually call in, support to support potential collision avoidance manoeuvres Generic flight dynamics support to other Sentinels Ground segment systems and teams FCT, SIM officer, ground stations, Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Required background in mathematics, mechanics and dynamics Mature problem solving skills Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Service provision will be exclusively in English Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Familiarity with operational training Familiarity with FD systems Familiarity with programmingscripting languages, its operation, exploitation and maintenance Familiarity with ESOC FD infrastructure software used for Sentinels Experience working with operational missions in Test and Validation area and in particular previous experience with CopernicusSentinels missions The following skills would be highly desirable Experience in working in an operational environment Familiarity with FORTRAN programming language Familiarity with the ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS Experience with prelaunch activities and launch campaigns of satellites Familiarity with effective teamwork principles and team building aspects How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
