This system could gradually develop into a tropical or subtropical cyclone while it moves northward or northeastward through Tuesday. Environmental conditions are forecast to become unfavorable for further development by the middle of the week. Environmental conditions are not conducive for tropical cyclone development and this system is expected to move northeastward and merge with a frontal system off the United States east coast by Sunday night.
