000 ABNT20 KNHC 242347 TWOAT TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 800 PM EDT MON AUG 24 2015 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: Thunderstorm activity associated with a low pressure system located about 825 miles east of the Lesser Antilles has become a little better organized today, although satellite wind data today suggest that the system has not yet developed a fully closed surface circulation. Interests in the Leeward Islands should monitor the progress of this disturbance. Additional information on this low can be found in high seas forecasts issued by the National Weather Service. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...90 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent A tropical wave and associated low pressure area located just west of the Cape Verde Islands is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
