This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. Project Portfolio Management Support 1713071 Job Description We are looking for Support Project Managers for our client EUMETSAT. You will support the portfolio of projects and major activities either as contributions to new development Programmes or as operational Upgrade Projects. Your tasks will include Preparing dedicated Project breakdown structure and derive the associated Project Management Plan PMP which shall describe Project development logic Project lifecycle including the interrelation with its related Programme andor with other Upgrade Projects. Project Phases and planning, including the definition of the objectives for the major Project Reviews. Management processes to be implemented during the Project lifecycle. Product tree. Work Breakdown Structure WBS and associated Work Package WP descriptions, including the estimated effort required to perform the WP when applicable. Resources human and nonhuman allocated to ongoing Projects Key Performance Indicators used to monitor and control the progress of ongoing Projects Project schedule up to hand over to the related Programmes still in Phase CD or to the Operational Readiness Review of Upgrade Projects, including the identification of the Critical Path and schedule indicators. Updatingmaintaining the PMPs for ongoing Projects during their lifecycle. Maintaining a Critical Item List and an Action Item List during the Project lifecycle. Managing Project risks and associated mitigation actions. Preparation of synthetic progress reports for internal and external purposes. Preparation of presentations for internal and external purposes, attending the relevant Project progress meetings and documenting and tracking the decisions and actions discussed and agreed. Preparation and the execution of Project, including system engineering life cycle and processes definitions, Project Reviews from a management standpoint, as well as the organization of dedicated key checkpoints. Maintenance of the Project Schedule. Required Skills and Experience A University degree in a relevant discipline. At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in Project Management disciplines e.g. risk management, action control, reporting, planning, ideally with a PMP certification. Development life cycle system engineering. Sound knowledge of related QA processes and procedures, preferably ISO9001. Good office computing skills with a familiarity with Microsoft Office software Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project. Good interpersonal skills, Experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks with the minimum of supervision. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience of working on a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. DNA launches Android TV hub with 4K support

(Telecompaper) Finnish operator DNA said it has launched its Android television box called DNA TV-hubi, combining a set-top receiver with Chromecast built in and what it called a smartphone-style app store for TVs. Viewers can watch TV and use online applications, play games and listen to music via one system. The hub supports 4K, too.

You will have the opportunity to provide engineering support to the Galileo System PAS Unit in all the activities related to the execution of the Galileo System Product Assurance and Safety Programme. This position is based in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include You will be providing PAS support to the Galileo System Integration and Verification SIV activities. You will be reviewing test procedures and test reports. You will be witnessing test executions and report on the status and the major issues. You will be supporting configuration inspections as needed. You will be participating in TRRs, PTRs, TRBs. You will be contributing to the identification and processing of nonconformances and to the proceedings of the Galileo Nonconformance Review Boards NRB. You will be participating in Project Reviews at System level, and at Segment level when requested, by reviewing documentations, raising comments and RIDs, discussing them with industry and providing feedback particularly on major critical areas. You will be providing PAS support to Galileo Security related activities when required. You will be providing PAS support to the GNSS Evolution development activities e.g. Galileo Second Generation. You will be monitoring and providing feedback on industrial Contractor activities. You will be supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Navigation Directorate Quality Management System. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University, Ecole suprieure, etc. or equivalent in engineering or technical sciences. You have a minimum of 10 years experience in the space sector including 5 years in Product and Quality Assurance. You have excellent interpersonal skills together with a high degree of organizational and communication abilities, and you are comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment. Relevant experience in PAS management in the space domain. The following skills would be highly desirable Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001.
