Industry input is being sought into proposal to modify portions of ASHRAE’s refrigeration safety standard to incorporate subclass 2L flammability classifications. ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 15-2013, Safety Standard for Refrigeration Systems, specifies safe design, construction, installation, and operation of refrigeration systems. It covers full range of applications from residential to commercial to industrial. Addendum d to standard is open for public comment until January 18, 2016.

ANSI Seeks Input on ISO management system standards survey.

ANSI encourages all stakeholders to review ISO's survey paper on management system standards as well as DIN paper concerning proliferation of management system standards and respond to online survey by January 8, 2016. If national consultations result in consensus on any specific issues or concerns regarding ISO management system standards (MSS), ISO Technical Management Board (TMB) will consider and establish appropriate mechanisms to address said issues and concerns.

ICC seeks input on Council Policy 28 Code Development.

International Code Council is calling for stakeholder feedback on a proposed revision to ICC's Council Policy 28 Code Development, which requires that a standard must be updated in order to be included in a subsequent edition of the International Codes. More than 1,400 standards are referenced in the ICodes, including many American National Standards. All input on the proposed draft revision must be received by November 13, 2015.
