A vacancy for an Operation Manager for System Software Engineering and PLM systems mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. You will join the Information Management IM Team and will directly report to the Operation Manager of the department. IM is the Information Technology IT business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space. Other responsibilities will include the definition, provision, and tracking of Key Performance Indicators KPIs to ensure delivery of our services in a high quality manner. You will propose innovative ways to look at solution and integration options. Responsibilities are in the definition, deployment and validation of the support procedures requested for IM projects. You will quickly understand the real business requirements and map them to PLM and SysSW Engineering landscape of Airbus Defence and Space. This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities. In this context, you will be responsible for the following activities Participating to the Service Level Agreement SLA definitionupdate per service, Ensuring that SLA is covered as defined by TOISC3 support teams, Providing inputs and assumptions needed for the subcontracted operational work packages, Validating outputs of the subcontracted operational work packages, Steering continuous improvements of support and operation methodologies, Managing relationship with other key players within TOI who participates to support and operation infrastructure TOII, governance TOIG, , Ensuring that Operational Level Agreements OLAs are agreed and applicable with TOII for each service, Coordinating the rollout of the systems on the production environments Being the focal point for Key Performance Indicator KPI reporting, This role will involve some travel for business 3 times a year in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Engineering degree or Masters degree, in Information Technology, 5 years of experience in information management systems, Significant experience in project andor team managementcoordination, Solid knowledge on information system architecture Knowledge of PLM product lifecycle management processes and software solutions, Ideally, knowledge of software engineering tools, Knowledge of all or parts of the following domains o Microsoft Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint o ITIL process, o Configuration ManagementEngineering and quality domains, o TDMPDM tools TeamCenter Sprint SAP, o Windchill incl. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Ensuring the engineering, development, deployment, verification and validation of Galileo Operability Chain functions MUCF, MSF, VTP, GACF in the areas of monitoring control of Galileo assets, archiving, realtime and offline mission monitoring, mission uplink and control, mission support, training and maintenance. Ensuring the definition of interfaces and data formats for the data exchange of the Galileo Operability Chain Facilities. Assessment of the overall GMS operability and integrated logistic support ILS aspects of the GMS functions including the verification of the related operational procedures. Assessment of operational improvements provided by the GMS operators, coordination of discussion and agreement with GMS operators and GMS industrial partners as part of regular GMSOPS Working Group meetings and organization of MMI workshops. Supporting the definition of Galileo GMS IVQ Plan in the area of the Operability Chain Facilities ensuring followup and monitoring of Industry AIV activities and participation to formal verification activities Contribution to the preparation of ESA Procurement documents, evaluation of offers, negotiations and management of resulting contracts for all topics related to GMS Operability Chain elements. Contribution to all GMS Segment and System reviews and meetings for all topics related to GMS Operability Chain elements. Preparing, supporting and followup the procurements actions and industry contracts with regard to the implementation of the VTP. Supporting the engineering, development, deployment, verification and validation of VTP. Support to Operations related to operability and ILS aspects, eg. spares management, training organization, etc. Contribution to the GMS overall Engineering activities Requirements Engineering, Change Management and Baseline evolutions, Assessments of RFDRFWs, HWSW COTS, obsolescence management, etc. Support to the introduction of a new StateoftheArt hardware infrastructure virtualized platform, datacentric design, etc, Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree Masters in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
