Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Monitoring and supporting the implementation, verification and validation of Flight Software General Support to Software Validation Facilities and Avionics Test Bench infrastructure activities. Emulators characterisation. Interface adaptations between SVF and Test Bench models. Adaptation and upgrade ATB EagleEye mission to Time and Space Partitions TSP and multicore configurations. Integration of TSP based system execution environment. Supporting integration of Multicore based system execution environment. Support dedicated projects SVF infrastructure development including processor simulator. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory A university degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline. At least 4 years previous relevant work experience in the field. In particular experience with Software engineering and objectoriented programming. Programming languages CC andor others. Embedded Real Time Systems and Real Time Kernels. Unix based systems. Microprocessors such as SPARC LEON, ARM, multicores etc. Communication protocols Mil1553, SpaceWire, CAN. Software Engineering Standards such as the ECSSEST40C. Pilots of the Delta Air Lines Inc. jet that skidded off a New York runway last week set automatic braking systems to maximum operation but didn't "sense any wheel brake deceleration," according to federal investigators. The captain of the MD-88 has told investigators the plane veered left shortly after touching down on a snow-covered runway at La Guardia Airport, and he was unable to slow it down or keep it on the runway despite the maximum brake settings, the National Transportation Safety Board said Monday.
