This role will be high profile within the group and could be based in any of the RHEA offices in Europe although Germany base is preferred. This Project manager will need to have a good understanding of the European Earth Observation programs and the Space Institutions and industrial landscape involved in those programs. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include You will be responsible for delivering projects to an agreed baseline, while managing project finances, reporting, schedule and risks. You will have direct interaction with the client, endusers and partner organisations, so presentational and interpersonal skills are important. Managing subcontractors, from selection via competitive procurement through to execution of subcontract Management of Firm Fixed Price contracts and Fixed Unit Price service contracts. Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of the project. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project Manages the change control procedure, and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off.
