Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the development of business intelligence solutions for internal and external customers and exploring new techniques for visualizing management information. Develop dashboards, providing management information with a sound understanding of the needs of the audience. Support the legacy systems and suggest options for a migration to a new emerging IT landscape. Contribute to the further digitalization of business processes. Contribute to the evolution of the TIA Data Warehouse, ensuring that data from different sources is structured, enriched and captures the business logic of the directorate. Actively exchange knowledge with team members andor other IT professionals in ESA and especially within the TIA domain. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience. Experience in software development for business management applications. Handson experience with Business Analytics Software e.g, Tableau, Power BI, Python. Excellent analytical and planning skills Experience in collection user requirements, designing dashboards, defining KPIs. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The following skills would be highly desirable Knowledge of Javascript, Java 7, Sharepoint and Nintex. Experience with database and Data warehouse architecture MS SQL server, Datavault Builder. IHM includes a microcomputer Raspberry Industrial Compute Module running the Linux operating system with generous computation and memory resources. Besides the firmware, also additional application and customer specific software can be run on IHM. The Senior Software Architect will provide organization leadership in software development. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong foundation in computer science and a wide range of experience in every aspect of software development.
