The role will suit a person who enjoys the challenges of deploying, commissioning and integrating multiple technologies. The Galileo Security Facility GSF is a new facility being developed during the FOC1 phase of the Galileo Programme providing management of the Public Regulated Services PRS to Member States and a Galileowide security event monitoring capability. The GSF is intended to provide an interface between EU member states and the Galileo core system for the management of the Galileo PRS service and Galileo Security Monitoring. This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in the development and deployment of Galileo, Europes satellite navigation system. Candidates should be capable of quickly picking up new concepts as the system is large and complicated, working to high standards of quality, and to agreed timescales either independently or as part of a team.
