Crude oil prices have reached a 2-year high this week, over a possible Turkish ban on Kurdish shipments. Polyester prices are however not expected rising, after having actually begun retreating back to lower levels. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison of polyester staple fibers with cotton and viscose.
