Polyester staple fiber prices have further surged in the last seven days in China, supported by a stronger seasonal demand, low inventory levels and high operating rates. Profits are also surging at polyester fiber plants, at last. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison of polyester staple fibers with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.

Wind Tre extends wholesale FTTH deal with Open Fiber

Wind Tre this week extended its partnership with wholesale fibre network operator Open Fiber, inking a new deal that will see it extend fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services to an additional 258 Italian cities. The Italian telco is already using Open Fiber's infrastructure to provide FTTH in 13 cities.
