Electronic Engineer for Control Electronics Digital and analog circuits FPGA ASIC design VHDL Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customers activities are in the field of scientific and Earth observation missions. The scope of activities covers design and engineering work at mission and satellite system level, the development and production of space equipment such as solar generators, high precision mechanisms, attitude sensors and launch services support. The company is also active in terrestrial applications and provides project management support to the implementation of Tsunami Warning Systems and delivers land and ocean based sensor stations. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Specification and design of integrated circuits, electronic components and subsystems for satellitesspace instruments Design of digital and analog circuits, FPGA ASIC Design VHDL Supporting the developmentprovision of electronic components by subcontractors and suppliers, and providing support to circuit design, layout and construction Preparation of circuit analyses derating, worst case, radiation Supportsupervision of flight model production Implementationsupervision of commissioning and hardware test Preparation of design and test documentation Presentation of technical data to customers. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Electronic Engineering or another relevant discipline Several years of professional experience in the development of space electronics Very good knowledge of development of digital and analog circuits and digital signal processing Experience with computer systems and hardware programming in VHDL with common tools Cadence EDIS, Synopsys ICC Experience in CAE development, simulation and analysis tools ORCAD PSpice, Altium Designer, Matlab Profound knowledge of metrology Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German or another European language is an advantage. Tasks and Responsibilities Specific duties this requires continuous availability of the Key Person in the laboratory and fast reaction time in support to Test Centre customers and ESTEC labs requests Direct responsibility to maintain the present scopes of ISO 17025 accreditation of the Laboratory Equipment Pool Humidity and Temperature, Resistance, Capacitance, DC voltages Support new scopes of accreditation for the Laboratory Equipment Pool Perform electrical manufacturingintegration, electrical maintenance and electrical documentation tasks for the ESTEC test Centre and the ESTEC laboratories Perform low voltage electrical safety inspection. Experience in the integration electrical equipment, manufacturing of electrical harness and assembly of electronic boards is required. Structural Engineer specialised in Electronic Packaging In a multidisciplinary engineering team, contribute to the development of stateoftheart spaceborne electronic units and subsystems by performing their structural analyses. Be part of a design team to evaluate numerically, analytically andor experimentally stiffness, strength and durability of spaceborne electronic equipment and subsystems. Identify problem areas, propose design modifications or improvements and subsequently approve the mechanical design. Support manufacturing, validate and prove the mechanical design by conducting mechanical tests according to the mechanical environments. Generate analysis reports as well as mechanical test plans reports. Experience skills The candidate should meet the following requirements Indepth knowledge of electronic components packaging techniques PCB, solders, vias, CCGA, thermal management, etc.. Ability to resolve manufacturing problems in electronic equipments. More than 4 years of direct experience in structural dynamics modal, sine, random analyses as well as thermoelastic analysis for electronic units and subsystems. Familiar with the fatigue life evaluation of electronic equipments More than 4 years of experience with NASTRAN. Ability to perform vibration, shock life tests.
