Electronic Engineer for Power Electronics Digital and analog circuits, converter and power electronics Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customers activities are in the field of scientific and Earth observation missions. The scope of activities covers design and engineering work at mission and satellite system level, the development and production of space equipment such as solar generators, high precision mechanisms, attitude sensors and launch services support. The company is also active in terrestrial applications and provides project management support to the implementation of Tsunami Warning Systems and delivers land and ocean based sensor stations. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Specification and design of analog and digital circuits, electronic components and subsystems for satellitesspace instruments Design of digital and analog circuits, converter and power electronics as well as power supplies Supporting the developmentprovision of electronic components by subcontractors and suppliers, and providing support to circuit design, layout and construction Preparation of circuit analyses derating, worst case, radiation Supportsupervision of flight model production Implementationsupervision of commissioning and hardware test Preparation of design and test documentation Presentation of technical data to customers. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Electronic Engineering or another relevant discipline Several years of professional experience in the development of space electronics and power electronics Very good knowledge of development of digital and analog circuits calculation, simulation, validation, optimisation of developed circuits including documentation Experience in CAE development, simulation and analysis tools ORCAD PSpice, Altium Designer, Matlab Profound knowledge of metrology Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German or another European language is an advantage. A vacancy for an Electronic Detection Equipment Development Engineer mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. You will join the EO Detection Microwave Engineering department. The Instruments division of the Earth Observation, Navigation Sciences directorate is responsible for developing instruments lidars ALADIN ESA and ATLID ESA, optical and hyperfrequency instruments for Earth observation and scientific payloads EUCLID PLM. Several important instrument developments are in progress or about to kick off IASI NG, Sentinel 5, MetImage and MWI for the MetOp Second Generation mission, GOCI II KARI for Korea and NAOMI for Peru. For optical instrument developments and as the engineer responsible for electronic detection equipment development, you will be in charge of defining then steering the design and development of one or more items of equipment subcontracted to French or European partners. You will be the owner of the statement of work, the contract and the specification for the equipment and must be capable of consolidating them and negotiating with industrial partners you will guarantee compatibility between equipment design and performance and the instrument needs. For the equipment under your responsibility, you will be the focal point for the supplier within the instruments project team. You will report hierarchically to the detection department, be posted to an instrument project group and will participate in project team activities in the definition and development phase. Position Overview A new contract position is available assist with system design, development, test and documentation for space based data handling equipment. Heshe needs to be able to take responsibility for endtoend delivery of project deliverables assigned to them including design and project documentation. The position includes responsibility for engineering contact with the Prime customer. Responsibilities Review customers requirements to determine the basic feasibility of a solution based on the existing competencies and facilities within the organisation. Act as the primary point of contact for the customer Analyse a proposed solution to determine compliance with relevant standards. Write technical documentation including specifications, procedures, plans, technical notes, compliance matrixes and reports. Execute validation and qualification tests.
