Study new architectures applicable to the Earth Observation Network and Security infrastructure and optimization of the use of resources deployed Support the migration to a multi mission network architecture, in compliance with the agreed Mission and System requirements, including security issues, and considering the internal and external interfaces Provide supporting analysis and documentation in the framework of its activities Deliver reports, procedure and other requested documentation Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent qualification in Telecommunication Engineering with experience in Network and Security Architecture Design, Operational Network Services Experience Project Management activities. Several years of experience and a significant industrial background in one or more of the following domains communications, security design, specification and procurement of services from the market, secure operations, telecommunication systems design including substantial experience in Earth Observation missions ground segment engineering. Good understanding of networks and services WAN, LAN, email, name server applications, etc., Good understanding of security architectures e.g. virtual private networks, strongauthentication mechanisms, intrusion detection and prevention, content inspection, firewall. Familiarity with the latest generation of network and security methodology and technologies and knowledge of the research and education networks. Familiarity with most relevant security standards, including ISO27000 and Common criteria. Familiarity with cloudbased service provisioning, virtualization platform Team working and proactive attitude to solving problems Relevant security or networking certifications for the scope of work package. Cisco certifications CCNA, CCDA, CCIE, CCNP are considered an asset.
