T-Mobile US offers 1-wk free network test with iPhone

(Telecompaper) T-Mobile US announced a new offer for customers to test its network free for a week with an iPhone 5s. Starting 23 June, people can sign up for T-Mobile Test Drive at the operator's website. A few days later, they will receive an iPhone 5s to test T-Mobile's network for seven days. After the test drive, they need to return the phone to a T-Mobile store, or pay USD 700 for the phone. During the first year of the programme, T-Mobile expects at least one million people to take a test drive. T-Mobile said the offer is expected to show the quality of its data network, which already sees its customers using more data than the other major carriers.
