For Astrium Services Munich in Munich Ottobrunn within the area Business Winning for the department Business Winning Germany we are looking for a Business Development Welfare Communications mf. In this position, you will take on the followup project to ConnectD 2.0, i.e. welfare communications for soldiers on missions, with the help of innovative technical solutions and a furtherdeveloped business model, including selecting partners for the various aspects, e.g. Video on Demand and GSM providers, taking into account Astriums internal capacity in Germany, France and the UK. Furthermore, customerspecific solutions for soldiers deployed overseas, including the navy, must be developed. In the framework of the current project, other customers must also be won, e.g. US soldiers at German bases or the German Consulate, within the operational areas of the German army. This will require close cooperation with the GC Business Delivery department in Germany and France and the functional departments in Germany. The Business Delivery department must be supported with regard to the technical schedule, installation and handover to the customer. The work will be performed by Astrium at the Ottobrunn site and at the associated customer sites in other countries. You will report to the Head of GC Business Winning in Germany, and will cooperate externally with the KAM for the German army. Your main tasks will include Identifying future customer requirements and integrating Astriums capacity in the relevant areas of the German Army, Ministry of Defence, or Deployed Forces Headquarters Producing bids for the welfare communications system 2.0 for the German army Winning more customers in the relevant fields of operation based on the existing Astrium infrastructure and customer base Carrying out negotiations and concluding contracts with the help of the functional departments and colleagues in the Business Development department University degree in Engineering, specialising in Telecommunications, Communication Systems and Networks, Industrial Engineering or similar Several years of experience in project management and a desire to work as part of a team Several years of team leadership experience Several years of experience of producing business cases and in the daytoday execution of contracts Several years of practical experience in developing and maintaining network solutions would be an advantage Knowledge of satellite communications andor IT applications or networks Interest and experience in dealing with customers at management and user level, and professional experience in an international environment If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com.
