EGNOS PCF System Engineer Deadline for applications 15012021 Job Description For our client we are looking for a EGNOS PCF System Engineer for their location in Taufkirchen, Germany. Tasks and Responsibilities EGNOS is a satellite based European augmentation system for GPS signals and the upcoming European Navigation system Galileo. Currently the next generation EGNOS V3 is under development. In this context the element Prediction Chain Facility PCF is specified and verified by Airbus, generating GNSS corrections and bounds for end user receivers. The jobholder fmd works as a PCF System Engineer and has these main tasks Performing requirements engineering of navigation performance requirements for the PCF system Breaking down and allocating navigation requirements functional and performance to the PCF subsystems Verifying the flowdown of requirements to algorithm specifications Supporting definition of Test Procedures and Test Cases to verify the PCF element Contributing to specification of metrics, tools and scenarios in line with needs coming from qualification. Requirements Master Degree in Electrical engineering or Computer science or similar Engineering degrees Detailed knowledge of Python Detailed knowledge of Matlab Detailed knowledge of Doors Profound knowledge using C is necessary English business fluent German knowledge would be a plus Experience developing algorithm for satellite navigation is required Demonstrated experience in SBASEGNOS and GNSS system architecture and performances is required Demonstrated experience in system engineering and in associated processes and tools is necessary Experience in satellite navigation systems architecture and applications would be beneficial. Tasks and Responsibilities Contribute to the development of system concepts for navigation service evolutions Management of performance assessment and system modeling Contribution to service concepts for robust positioning by integrity and authentication Analysis of system requirements and reflection into system design Development of software prototypes to test and tradeoff concepts and algorithms Data processing based on available Airbus evaluation software. Earth Observation Data System Management Engineer 2123001 We are looking for a Data System Engineer to support our customer, ESAs Mission Operations Data Systems Division which specifies, develops, implements and maintains all common technical infrastructure and missiondedicated data systems required for operations. This covers in particular mission control systems, mission planning systems, simulators, and new types of data processing systems as necessary. The Division delivers these systems to the users and provides them with appropriate support during the various missionproject phases. The Division is also responsible for the development and the maintenance of the infrastructure for the mission operations data systems in use at ESOC. The DSM services relate to Mission Data Systems MDS, which include Mission Control System, Mission Planning System, Operational Simulators, Service Provision Data Centre and Advanced Software Applications. An example of some of the services provided include Development and Maintenance of Mission Data Systems Specification and management of Software Requirements Contractual and technical work for the start of a new MDS project Running the MDS software development and maintenance projects Support the Management and perform ESOC internal activities related to MDS deployment, testing, configuration etc according to ESOC internal processes.
