We are currently looking for a Materials and Processes Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Materials and Processes Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities The Materials and Process Engineer will interface with functional responsibles for assembly, integration and test procurement, manufacturing and design exercising a high level of technical and quality control on materials and processes in order to assure the performance, reliability and reproducibility of results. Typical tasks include Ensure that materials, manufacturing processes, production resources and their subsequent application comply with quality and design requirements Contribute to materials and processes selection, development, evaluation and qualification. Contribute to the disposition of nonconformances Participate in risk reviews of product designdevelopment and manufacturing issues Manage declared materialsprocessesparts lists Establish materials and processes specifications on supplier and monitor supplier compliance. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in material science, physics, chemistry or any other relevant field It is mandatory to have working experience in the space industry as well as work experience with relevant portions of the ECSS standards Experience in quality management is an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
