You will take on a team leader role responsible for managing and coordinating the Mission Performance Team MPT. You will support multimission systems and their operations, ensuring the successful delivery of services from the current missions and contributing to the development of future EUMETSAT satellite systems. The focus of the MPT is on system operations and their monitoring reporting. This is an exciting and evolving role that would ideally suit someone who is able to work well both in a proactive and reactive environment, to ensure the continuity and evolution of the MTP activities. Along with a university degree or equivalent in a relevant subject you should have skillsexperience in each of the following areas Proven and extended experience of Endtoend system operations in a realtime spacecraft operations environment Operation of mission monitoring systems, and use of monitoring tools e.g. NAGIOS Definition, development, integration and acceptance testing of mission data monitoring systems Defining and implementing the verification and validation testing of ground segment systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to apply these to interactions within a team and between teams Experience of team andor project and technical management Proven ability to solve technical problems proactively and independently.
