Oculus VR on Wednesday launched Oculus Social for Samsung's Gear VR viewer. Gear VR users can create profiles on Oculus Social and search out friends via real names or handles. The company, which has yet to ship its own virtual reality headset, also released two social games to encourage more friending on Oculus Social: Herobound: Gladiators and Social Trivia.

There is currently no official standard for vaccine storage equipment in clinics, pharmacies, and other health providers’ offices. Michal Chojnacky of NIST’s Physical Measurement Laboratory, Sensor Science Division, is one of 30 members of a multi-institution committee run by NSF International whose goal is to define a set of performance standards for vaccine refrigerators, freezers, and other storage devices to help providers choose the best equipment for the job.

Being in the Design AuthorityTeam, this role also gets involved in technical investigations to help resolve performance issues and other in depth investigations, so a technical tasks and mind is also required. This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in the development of Galileo, Europes satellite navigation system. The position is for a role on the Galileo Key Management function KMF Project in the Design Authority team. The project is starting a series of enhancements to provide the Full Operational capability for the Galileo satellite navigation programme. The Galileo KMFs manage the encryption keys used in the navigation services.
