The frame contract is EO PDGS Evolution Earth Observation Payload Data Ground Systems which involves evolving and enhancing all aspects of the infrastructure supporting the various missions. The EO area has been growing rapidly and will continue to do so. This role is for a test manager, with hands on practical testing experience, who will be required to gain knowledge of the applications we are responsible for. The successful candidate will work with the existing EO team in Leatherhead . Tasks include Scheduling maintenance release testing Managing the release schedule Coordinating with Building Block Lead Engineers BBLEs to agree who will test Coordinating with the Platform admin over the use of the test environment Coordinating with Serco testing resources Support to project testing Liaise with PM to agree support from the team including Serco resources to meet client priorities OLA ESAR Reporting Show overall plan for use of testing resources Regression testing by BBLE BBLEs need to have run regression tests their applications at least once Coordinating with BBLE Maintaining tracking Develop test scripts and regression suites to test modification requests. Identify test data requited to carry out the test execution and ensure that its available on the test platform before starting the test execution. Execute test scripts for the verification of changesfixes implemented. Provide support to BBLEs Building Block Lead Engineer where applicable in performing assessment or in verifying the findings of other teams to conclude CR or NCR for implementation.
