Responsibilities Be responsible for the orbital and momentum control of the SES satellites. This operational activity includes mainly orbit determination, maneuver planning and computation, maneuver performance analysis and calibration. Take the appropriate actions in case of large unexpected orbit perturbations or in case of close approach with another satellite or debris. Provide oncall support Review the LEOP design, shadow the LEOP implementation and lead the maneuver planning during the inorbit test phase Determine and maximise the satellite propellant lifetime Upgrade the orbital software to support new satellite platforms, new operational requirements or to increase operations safety Perform advanced analytical studies and software developments in the orbital control field.
