For our activities in ECSAT, we are currently looking for two parttime Field Support Technicians to start in June on a fixed term contract with the duration of 1 year and possibility of extension. . Main responsibilities Tasks and Responsibilities As successful candidates you will be responsible for the following PC 2nd level call support for simple cases on PC printing, incident and problem handling Inventory and asset tracking, status updates Support new PC installations revocations breakfix Provision of Mobility Packs and tokens, updating tracking database Interface with Service Desk on call resolution status, reporting. Printer Support printer installations revocations breakfix Perform preventive maintenance on printers Perform reactive maintenance on personal printers, respecting relevant SLAs Interface with printer maintenance supplier on maintenance schedules Perform preventive maintenance on printers. Service Desk Answer calls, emails and user visits, creating Remedy Incident Reports accurately Assign Incident tickets to available technicians Manage the recording and delivery of small items, documented in Remedy tickets Ensure Remedy tickets with status Pending are monitored, and user progress information made available Advise the Lead Technician or Service Manager concerning Remedy tickets in danger of breaching their SLA target. Service definition of SIM card management SIM card activation, revocation, transfer and change of profile requests by interfacing with the telco providers Delivery to end user Incident management through onsite support or by interfacing with the telco providers Management of the ongoing purchase orders committed by ESA to the telco providers for what concerns SIM, mobile devices, accessories Follow up deliveries by interfacing with the telco providers Ticket updating Asset Management Stock Management Monthly and on demand service reporting PIN and PUK management Installation and activation of SIM on enduser device HW break and fix interface with Telco provider. The two positions will be split into two shifts, which will be from 800 1300 and 1300 1800. Ideal candidate Requirements You should bring at least 1 year of working experience as many as possible of the following areas Familiar with BMC Remedy Familiarity with corporate purchasing practices, control record keeping Good interpersonal skills in English Familiarity with the use of Windows PCs, Apple laptops, phones tablets, and other smart phones Experience in local onsite desktop support for one to two years in large organisation more than 1000 Users Experience in working as part of a team on a customer premises is mandatory Escalation handling and rapid response to critical incidentsissues Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 2010 suite Knowledge of Lotus Notes client configuration and support Experience with PolyCom video conferencing systems maintenance and support a plus Good working knowledge of ITIL processes certification a plus. Tasks and Responsibilities Under the direct responsibility of the Head of the Writing Editing Unit of the Communications Department, based in ESTEC, you will provide support in the following areas Oversee the creation and publication of about 15 Conference Proceedings per year, along with conference posters, flyers and programmes if requested Scan photographs, slides and other material to provide digital copies Maintain the indexed electronic archive of publications Maintain the physical archive of publications Other administrative or organisational tasks, as and when required Preparation of communication material for the promotion of ESTEC and Redu for both internal and external communications Development and publication of multimedia products and implementation of communication plans using print, online and social media Archiving the electronic files of finalised products, with a particular care of the inclusion of related credits and captions Production of a wide variety of videos, including 5 to 60minute informational videos, interviews and 6 second spots. In particular the video material generated must be in line with the ESA Corporate Visual Identity rules for videos and following broadcastquality standards for use online and by professionals technical specifications being 1920x108050i, with 2 audio tracks Compilations from existing content for social media and future digital products and services Pitching ideas for potential content pieces that you would like to create. You will interface closely with other units in the Communication Department such as the Writing and Editing Unit and the Graphics Unit, to ensure the compliance of all products with the ESA corporate house style and visual identity. Requirements You should have a university degree bachelor from a recognized institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in audiovisual communication or multimedia, at least 2 years of postgraduate experience and good knowledge and some experience in the following areas Video production scripting, filming, mixing and editing. Experience with Avid or Final Cut and Adobe Products, including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition an advantage, Web publication and web streaming Social media Spoken and written English Solid experience in a publishing environment involving both physical and digital products Excellent command of English, especially written Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign An interest in and good understanding of ESA Programmes and related activities. Tasks and Responsibilities Responsibilities shall include Coordinating actions with other assistants of the department Planningcoordinating the commitments and meetings, organizing calendar and keeping the Division Head informed on all issues of concern supervising the preparation of files for such meetings and any special subjects On personal initiative or on instructions, collecting information and documents necessary for the Division Staff to take actions on given issues Analysing incoming mail paper and email and presenting these data in an organized and prioritized manner. Ensuring that important and urgent mail reaches staff to insure timely responses Coordinating actions with the Head of Department TIAP and TIAPY organizing and coordinating highlevel meetings e.g. Steering Boards with Industry Ensuring the diffusion of information between the Division Head and Quantum Teams Answering incoming calls and performing a prescreening of these calls for direct connection with the Division Head or for reply at a later time. Generating documents and textual and graphics presentations Check for correct authorization, substantiating documentation and adherence to Agency rules and practice ref. leave, mission, conference, authorization with regards to Staff Rules and Regulations, as well as financial procedures For the execution of the tasks the contractor will be expected to use related ESA Corporate software tools, documentations systems, and databases and interface with the relevant actors across the Agency Provide Support to ensure ensuring the implementation and operations of the Department Documentation Management System in accordance with the ISO requirements and TIA processes Establishing and maintaining the structure and records and files on the Management Information Systems such as Eclipse and Daptiv. Interfacing and providing support to department staff on administrative matters related to use of the relevant systems Support to reviews and audits, and preparation of files as background for meetings and special studies Administering and maintaining the office documentation systems. Setting up the folder structure, registration, filing and distribution of correspondence and other documentation. Follow up of departmental actions using the Eclipse Documentation Management System. Requirements The Key Person shall bring a Secondary education and professional training in administrative techniques or in secretarial related activities and the following 5 years administrative assistant experience at the executive level Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook, Sharepoint A good knowledge of the various ESA tools MAS, ESAP, Eclipse, Time Sheet, Flexitime,... is an asset Good Knowledge of Documentation Management System A fluent knowledge of the English language is required.
